Foster, I was referring to the TAC channels on the old system, vs the new system. I've been told by a radio tech that the dispatch channels will remain clear.

You are right though, there wasn't a lot of traffic on the TAC channels, even when they'd forget to turn on the encryption.

I’m slightly confused by this post. You were hearing all listed talk groups (including state) on zone 4? Is that what I’m understanding?

Still trying to clarify. Your original comment said you were hearing state on “MoSWIN/simulcast”. As of this point state hasn’t been green-lighted for the simulcast.

Caught these Iron County Talk groups. Also none Iron County on the last recordings.

5007,5008, 5011,27605

Does anyone have an idea on which agencies (departments)that they be.

Thank you for your help.

2 New sites in Mid Mo show as neighbors to Jeff City 700MHz Site 16:

Site 1-74 cc 773.06875
Site 1-91 cc769.20625

Also, the former non-standard freqs of the Jeff City site have changed to standard template G, tho the final freq (774.28125) does not show up on PRO96Com, and set site NAC is now 1C1.

The hunt is on!

You may double check the Jeff city site. Per techs any 700 site that follows the template will have all channels. Each 700 site should have 6 channels.

Does proscan show you the freqs regardless of activity?

A couple new voice channels added to Zone 4 and retired from the M36 system. Also of note, Zone 4 finally has some peers. Springfield 700 (1-53) and Fair Grove (1-10) started showing up in the peers list today. Should start seeing more activity from non-Zone 4 talk groups. (Example: Region D IO.. Statewide Mutual Aid.. Travel channels... etc) On that same note.. will probably also see a lot more non-zone 4 radios affiliations denied access unless they use one of the shared channels.

Already have St. Clair travel almost daily on the zone 4 system. Haven’t ever came across many other travel channels in that area or on sites near the GC area. Seems others are very rare.

Added 3 new sites in MOSWIN - all in Zone 1
72 Keytsville 700 in Chariton County - Troop B
74 Rich Fountain 700 in Osage County - Troop F9\
91 Fulton 700 in Callaway County - Troop F (aka the "Kingdom of Callaway" an interesting tale from the civil war)

still need a few details on the first two - give them a look and fill in a few holes.

Sorry for the loss, that is never easy for any person or any agency to deal with. One request - could you please try not to use abbreviations in your posts? Not everyone knows what they mean. Thanks!

I think he's referring to Ebenezer Fire Protection District. One of their trucks was involved in a rollover crash.
