Looking good, 1420 BST - strong signals in the 33MHz band in southern England. Lancaster Co, 33.9MHz booming in (-78dBm).
Also, quite good signals in Cape Cod from the french autoroutes system.

There is a 5341 Sooke Road in Sooke, BC Canada... I don't know if or how you can query their licensing system. There is a "Sooke Towing" within the town, unknown what they use for radios/frequencies though.

Oh definitely. Motorola CDM 750's were made in lowband, and I'll bet thats a lowband antenna on the roof. There ya go, there's your answer.
