Quite a day for QVEC, I don't think I've caught four channels of them in one day before. King William, VA wasn't anywhere to be heard on 33.74 today or in the last several days, just QVEC. I don't think I've previously logged QVEC on that frequency before today.

For Veterans Day (thank you, Veterans, both with us and before us, for your service), I'm leaving the station to sit on Warren Co, PA (33.980) to catch some of that wonderful paging they use. Gotta archive that before it's gone. QC-I, QC-II and 5-tone are all used. So it should be a very simple day to report tomorrow

What's your source on that? If it's just an FCC DB search for callsigns ending in "23", I did that, I don't think that's enough to go off of (especially since it's expired, and it's also just a base station, not a repeater or any real infrastructure). It would be unusual to have a Morse ID on that (but not unheard of).

It may not even be coming from the US.

Because I purposefully left it there to capture as much Warren County traffic as I could. And I only got 55 seconds. So either it was an incredibly slow day, the path was crap, or a combination of both. What I did get was pretty noisy comparatively.

It's back in scan now, we'll see what tomorrow brings.

The CW on 30.760 is always WQPU857 Van Pool Transport from MA. Expired licence but still on the air.

It would be unusual to have a Morse ID on that (but not unheard of).

It may not even be coming from the US.

I'm probably the one who originally identified that - it's heard all the time here at present. One of the first signals in each day, I've never heard any traffic on it - it's just on there sending a fast morse ID every so often.
