It means you set some radio to site scan and all it showed was site 4 and site 8 (the home site).

Which is very similar to seeing contrails of a jet pass overhead and then ask someone what airline was that. Who know's .. who cares. Since you can not (because of a lack or equipment, knowhow, or both) provide us with a system ID, it's just a control channel.

What is the make/model/serial number of your "800 Mhz" radio?

Eh...on a Motorola radio, you will see the site number (or alias if on a SZ system). It wouldn't be any "random" control channel from "any" system. It would be from a specific system, so yes, a system ID would be nice to have..but if he is talking about one specific system, its not going to take too much guess work.

You roll in here saying all kinds of weird things PB. Honestly, if you could, for once, post something normal for a change I think that everyone would be shocked.

Here are some tips to get you started:

• Stop capitalizing every other word.
• Stop with all of the "I know something you don't but I'm not gonna tell" crap.
• Get your head out of the sand and learn how to run a scanner and/or use UniTrunker if you feel complled to post stuff about trunked systems.
