I've got oficial notification from Russian Post that Gerlad L. Dubzak Jr. received his parcel.
So the result is:
1. Due to delay in shipping he got a refund.
2. After that he promised me to pay for it if it arrives.
3. After refund during 3 days he received ADCR25.
4. After my e-mail he told me that he received ADCR25 and it was damaged.
5. After that i requested from him a couple of photo.
6. he said that he is out of a town and i have to wait.
7. He stopped replying to my e-mails.

Now he says: "I threw the broken board in the trash"

Dear Mr. Gerald L. Dubzak, as you know after you got a refund arrived ADCR25 is NOT YOURS! It is mine! What for you threw it in the trash? Why you promised me in one of your e-mail to make a photo of broken board?

Сongratulations! US Super Man won Russian engineer :)

I am NOT going to continue this discussion in this thread; I simply stated the facts and am happy to provide all documentation to whomever requests it, so they can make an informed decision for themselves.

I terminated communications with you via e-mail when you began threatening me; I simply wasn't going to tolerate that unprofessional behavior.

After several months of not receiving the item I purchased AND following numerous requests as to its status AND the invalid tracking information you provided; I opened the PayPal case to resolve the issue. You immediately agreed to issue a refund, this is true; however, I'm not sure why this process took several weeks, with you telling me you didn't know how to process a refund. As a result, I escalated the case and then a refund was eventually issued.

Several days passed and then you e-mailed me, saying you provided the incorrect tracking information all along and that the item was on it's way. Yes, it's true I agreed to pay for the board upon ACTUAL receipt of a working product. Funny how it took months, but then all of sudden, he comes a shipment. I've ordered things from all over the world, shipment NEVER, NOT ONCE took this long, PERIOD...

Moving on, several days later, I received the board, which was shipped in a simple envelop that looked as if it had been through hell and back, inside the envelop was the board, broken down the middle near that large black IC. I immediately e-mailed you, and you took two days to respond to me; at which point I was out-of-town for business. You then e-mailed me again telling me that you expected me to ship the board back to Russia on my dime and you demanded photos immediately; but again, I was out-of-town and that didn't suit your needs. Several more demanding e-mails followed and I basically said a big F$%* you and washed my hands of the whole thing, throwing the broken POS board in the garbage, because I wasn't about to pay return international shipping to Russia for something I had already given up on and that arrived damaged. Furthermore, your threatening tone was more than enough for me to say enough and move on. Very unprofessional from a seller of goods ANYWHERE in the world.

You continue to exploit the fact that I am a scammer when the reality is, YOU SCREWED UP. FACT: You provided incorrect tracking information several weeks after I had already made payment. FACT: You continued for two months to tell me it was on it's way, yet the tracking information always revealed otherwise. FACT: After waiting two months, patiently I might add, you still gave me a difficult time in tracking this item; thus I opened the PayPal case. FACT: The board arrived in May; originally ordered in February, in a damaged condition and YOU expected me to resolve the issue on my coin; wasn't going to happen. FACT: After you refunded me, you gave me a different tracking number, which belonged to the board that actually arrived. FACT: You continue to throw my name out there like it's some kind of threat; fact is, I've had several thousand internet deals with amateur radio operators and numerous companies throughout the world and have NEVER had a bad experience such as well; nor has anyone been wronged by me EVER; well, until now I guess...

The long and the short of it is, I am DONE communicating with you on this issue, PERIOD! Don't waste your time with anymore harassing or threatening e-mails at this point. I have been forwarding all correspondences to PayPal regarding this transaction. It was a bad transaction from the get-go and that's it. I will NOT speak negatively about your product as I never got the chance to experience it; however, I am just being informative about my personal experience with ordering a product from you. I have not threatened you in anyway and do not appreciate the tactics you've taken with me.

At this point, this is a dead topic for this forum and I urge the forums moderators to take whatever action is necessary to move along the conversation in the original direction of this posting.

Best of luck to all in the future! And again, those who've dealt with me in the past know the kind of online reputation I have and that's all I will say on the topic moving forward.

Good day!

RU3ANQ Can't you make one that covers 140-900 MHz? that would make a lot of us buy one. Here in the US we have 136-174 / 380-512 / 769-776 and 851-862 mhz bands in use.

Exactly. I don't mind the extra frequencies but it should include in it the bands in use for it to be practical in the US.

LA is out since they have so much in the 480-512 range and Phoenix has the 700/800 systems.
Lots more.

Having the 900mhz band covered is good though. I mean lots of commercial stuff and digital in the 900 band.

Im thinking of full band 100-900Mhz scanner. It is possible with superhet receiver design, as in AR-MINI for example. But we have many examples of super wide dongles (AirSpy, HackRF and many other) with super bad selectivity and awful blocking performance.

If to design good wide range receiver it should have complex tracking pre-selector, and crystal filtered IF. In my future plans is to develop fully portable all band scanner with bluetooth remote control. After all features and modes will be realized on ADCR25 i will start this portable scanner.

Hi, having it go to 1000mhz or at least well into the 900 band would be good.

Have you had any luck with what you were looking at to bridge the 160-164mhz gap?

I'd buy the separate receivers and have no problem doing so IF they covered the required frequencies.

Dear W2GLD, so many words and nothing deals from you.
As usual , you are not consistent. You first made a post here about how seller is bad and now when you can't find anything to answer my questions you don't want to continue this discussion.
Simple show us a photo and answer my questions. That is enough and i will make an apologies if ADCR25 was really broken.

I also wish you good luck and let my ADCR25 receiver will be a gift for you from great Russia! I hope you will be more tolerant in future. Have a fun with my ADCR25.
As you understand all of my friends here in Russia and USA also have been informed who you are. It is that you have paid for my receiver.

160-164 gap is due to limited synthesizer of the front-end chip. I have no idea how can i solve this problem in current scheme.

I have an idea with using that front-end chip at the IF of the receiver. In that case tri band receiver (with full band coverage) with IF at 150MHz (for example) is possible.

Latest firmware and software versions has been released. New DV standards has been added. NXDN and Yaesu C4FM (all modes).

FACT: After refund you primised me to pay for it if it arrives.
FACT: After you received ADCR25 you promised me to make a photo.
FACT: You stoppped replying to my e-mails right after this mail.

If you were a decent person would then quietly gave me evidence of broken ADCR25 instead of not responding to my e-mails and writing are false.

In Russia we have a proverb: "that's his guilty conscience speaking" or in Russian "На воре шапка горит!"

So you're having a beef with a vendor and instead of taking a photo of the board and packaging - a photo that would heavily bolster your side of the argument, you just dispose of the evidence. That doesn't pass the sniff test.

RU3ANQ, wishing you better luck with your other transactions.

Okay thanks. I just remembered in our conversation you said you were looking into something that would possibly eliminate that gap so figured I'd ask.

Will look forward to what comes.

Im sorry that VHF model having this gap. Plenty of ADCR25 owners here in Russia also want 160-164 band working.

As a potential future solution is dual band scanner based on RDA1846S IC. It has full band coverage on VHF and UHF, but lack of the 800MHz.

I think that now both sides have now presented their sides of the disputed transaction, we don't need anymore discussion on the topic.

Instead, let's return to our regular discussion.

Thanks.

Will you be offering trunk tracking for NXDN and DMR out of curiosity?

Anyone have suggestions for mounting this into a enclosure?

Anyone with pics of their own solution? Seriously considering this...
