Whistler 1080 ,when using the wildcard in the Freq/ID i wont have to enter in in more talkgroups? My system is Missouri state wide and if so when wildcard is in system i should be able to receive transmission's by any Missouri state wide system if unit is in range?

That is correct, you will pick up every talkgroup on that system. The drawback is you won’t know the name of the talkgroup you’re listening to, just the number so you won’t easily be able to distinguish between talkgroup usage. For instance, on your system, “Region B - Fire 1” would only show as 23607 and “Troop I: Commercial Vehicle Enforcement” only as 152. You can lockout talkgroups by pressing Menu when it is active, saving it AND locking it out. You can also set a wildcard on the Radio ID tab to receive all the radio to radio conversations as well.

I moved all your questions to one thread. Please use this one and don't start multiple ones asking about your WS1080.

The antenna is about 7 inches in length. As far as bands go I listen to bands 154 mhz and 450 to 470 mhz. My main choice is the 700 mhz digital. Antenna does well in these bands on my TRX-1. Your listening prefrence and location may differ.

I have successfully programed a Moswin wildcard on my ws1080, is there a way to program a Wildcard for Dmr? I don't know if there is a state wide Dmr wildcard or not. Thank you.
