Hey guys,

Thanks to the heads up from qlajlu I found that there was a new version of Unitrunker available for download.

It is an Alpha version and has a few bugs but I have it up and running...

It is a windows interface that allows for pointing and clicking. Pretty cool if you ask me...

So I continue to explore the new features of the Alpha version.

I just found that a true history for a given Radio ID is easy to get now. As you can see below the individual what on UHP for a bit left then came back then moved to one of the regional channels then the the event channel. Then they started talking. This will be very handy when trying to track down who somebody is and what an unknown talk group is.

OK, downloaded the new version and have it decoding. Couple of questions:

Can't get it to control my second BC780XLT for voice following...is it able to do that yet?

How do you save your data, Does it do it automatic on exit?

Anybody have the band plan changes for rebanding?

Sorry, don't have time to sort through lots of posts right now.

Thanks,

He said voice following might work and might not work depending on the model.

This is the rebanded band plan.

Just went thru the 11 pages of info in the UniTrunker forum. Found the answer on voice following...so I will quit fussing with it until it is implemented in a later version. Figured out how to save data.

This is really nice and will be a great help when the rebanding switch is flipped. Techs were out checking our radios for correct programming last week and they said it will happen in August, geez I'm glad we weren't holding our breath.
