Last night I heard Radio Rebelde pounding in on 1180 khz, covering a regional station two states away (KOFI, Kalispell). Even without aid of an external loop.

@ Ridgeland ...
Your 660 Bloomberg radio might be KSKY out of TX.
I doubt it's the one near Orlando just from its pattern alone. I'm surprised that I could even hear them
in *Florida* when I visited the Folks a few years back.

Fwiw, 660 here in Northeast PA is WFAN day and night, which occasionally gets a good, readable nibbling from WAMO in Pittsburgh. One December there was no WFAN at all, just C&W from a paint WESC in SC. That would have been via the mid-winter anomaly.
I checked the list and didn't see a "Ridgeland" so I think your post was meant for me-anyway, if you are referring to post #1 of this thread, it actually was KTNN out of Window Rock, Az. and the Navajo Indian chanting you hear when you click on that photo (which is a link to the video) in post 1, is exclusive to that station:)

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows Phone OS 7.5; Trident/5.0; IEMobile/9.0; NOKIA; Lumia 900))

last night driving home from work in Polk county fl around 2300hrs on 1110am wtb news talk was booming in on my car radio. I'm guessing it was coming out of south Carolina because all the radio ads where for downtown area SC.

1720 kHz "Pirate Radio Boston" being heard here right now @ 0054 UTC, S5 over summer-like static on the MW band.

Cool! I hope you get much enjoyment out of your new gear when you get it:)
The only DX in the above group that I know of is WLS out of Chicago-maybe if you could, include the city of each station so we get an idea of how far ya got. (I could look em up but too lazy:D)

I get ya-that KXEO is a good one from your QTH not only because it's low power, but also it only runs one small antenna at its transmitter.
I tried to put this in here last night but kept getting a "503" error.
The following link puts you in a "AM transmitter locator". You click on a frequency, up comes a list of stations that operate on it. Then you scroll to the station you want, click on its city/state, then up comes its transmitter site on Google Earth:) it's pretty cool.
