When you get to the fine print, it all becomes clear, but who would buy a radio with 10kHz - 3GHz blocked? :ROFLMAO:

That's not sold by Amazon, so why would they change it? They just want the money.
The seller can almost put whatever they want...in this case, HRO.
Many online sites are now marketplaces, including Walmart and Home Depot.

So if we see something on Amazon it must be true? like Fake Book :ROFLMAO:

Anything on the internet should be suspect, until you do research and due diligence to validate the data, otherwise Buyer Beware
Yeah, yeah, yeah it's on Amazon though.

In this situation, it's more like Craigslist. A user posted the item and it's not up to the hosting site to correct it.
That's basically it.

Amazon just wants their cut of the transaction, they're not the Righteousness Police. If it's not overtly illegal, they...just don't care.

blocked is better than bricked :D, I have been saving for an 8600, would like to acquire one from a country that "blocked" isn't in their vocabulary

You've been here long enough to be familiar with the culture of this site by now. Some of the threads you've started have resulted in similar replies, so it shouldn't come as any shock to you.
