Ok My question is can I build a file on Sentinel on my computer and be able to send it to another computer with Sentinel on it. Do I zip it to a Hpe file or what? Any help would be appreciated.

if the other pc is yours or even someone elses just put the file on a thumb drive. if both pc's are on the same network you can copy files from one pc to the other using Windows Explorer or something like GoodSync.

Use export and import functionality. The zip process is to post here on RR because the forum doesn’t trust every file type and I guess .hpe is not one of the trusted ones.

There's several files involved so it depends on what you exactly want to share. I wanted to share an entire profile, which contains several Favorites Lists, and had to hunt down where that's stored. I found one of mine in the following folder: C:\Documents and Settings\George\My Documents\Uniden\BCDx36HP\Profile\NW_2023-07-01

It will contain your user name, rather than mine. Yeah the model is BCD... even though this is for the SDS-100.

Why not export it to an hpe file and make things easy? No need to locate anything in that directory.

I believe each hpe file is one Favorites List. As I mentioned, I wanted to share the entire profile, hence the search for it. And neither of these include the Custom Display settings.

For certain, one FL per HPE. I guess compressing the entire folder into a zip file would work. Never tried that before. You can always export the display settings too.

Yup. One file for display settings, one file for each FL and that still doesn't get it all. It depends on how much and what you want to share. I've used the WINXXX software virtually since it came out and got spoiled. While most users know about hpe files, few understand where stuff is actually stored (in the event you want to share the entire profile).
