Anyone tried running SDR++ for Android on a Samsung Galaxy A7 tablet yet?

Wondering if I should buy a Samsung Galaxy A7 tablet to run SDR++?
Thanks.

I did this a few years ago and it worked fine. The downside was that the operating time is pretty short because as I recall, the SDR was quite the power hog.

I have a splitter than allows a USB device and a power cord to share the port on an Android tablet. Not sure where I got it, but it can offset the power needed for SDR operation.

I got one of those too and if memory serves, it did the job. One could use an external USB power source but otherwise, it hobbles the mobility aspect of using a tablet with the SDR. Not a deal killer but adds to the stuff you need to go untethered.
