Yes he did - if he is truly a tester he violated his agreement and gave out information based on something that was very early in the development cycle according to UPMan's post.

This will be my last post on this. UPMAN also made the same statement that HE WAS NOT IMPRESSED. None of this means that the scanner will not be state of the art, and a great scanner when it comes to market.

This will be my last post too :) That has nothing to do with your friend discussing the performance of the radio. Oh and Jerry it's nothing against you so don't be offended by my statment.

"This will be my last post on this. UPMAN also made the same statement that HE WAS NOT IMPRESSED."

Are you serious?

"Additionally, firmware changes are made throughout the process in response to identified performance issues...there were several firmware versions that didn't impress me too much, but that is the entire point of testing different methods...try several and use the one that results in the best performance."

Nowhere in there does he indicate he was not impressed BY THE SCANNER. There were some firmware updates that did not work as planned apparently, but do you think that's where they stopped? Or would they "use the one that results in the best performance"? Hmmm...
