the manual says nothing about how to connect the computer and scanner after I have set up the wifi. when I look at wifi setting on the scanner it shows 192.168.1.1 which is my router address. I realize that the infrastructure mode isn't ready yet, but access point mode is supposed to be working, any hints ?

There's nothing you can do with the Wifi at this point other than to connect to your network -- we're waiting for the App to be released by Uniden.
