I just updated the firmware fine, and would like to try to use Arc8 to program some Alpha tags and such. My problem is whenever I try to send or read the data from the scanner, it says Data 34 Reading trunk type failed. I have the scanner set to remote mode yet it still is not working I have tried using 9600 and the 57600 baudrates. I am using a prolific usb which I know is not reccommended by uniden or butel. After it says the data 34 reading trunk type failed, if i click read data it says com error 8020 and then I click ok and then it says No BC250/785 scanner detected at comport
