I would say 95-99% of public safety is all moved to P25 and ENC. there’s still a few TGs that are mixed but it’s not consistent.
There’s a few radios that still need to be reprogrammed before the switch to ENC is 100%
Transit buses were the only TGs that were still active on EDACS earlier today

In the past few days I've heard some Cocoa PD traffic still on analog, and today I've ONLY heard med channel traffic. But today I didn't listen very much at all.
Countywide can still hear most anybody, you just don't know.

As of today Oct 9th 2025-Indian River county fire rescue is now encrypted & does some mutual aid to Brevard county

Still hearing some BCFR traffic on the EDACS system.

where did you see that IRCFR is running mutual aid with BCFR?

IRCFD is not encrypted, I listen to them everyday, possibly some channels but not all of them
Think this should be moved to the Indian River county page and not Brevard County
I'll allow to discuss MA between Brevard and Indian River Co.
When they have an incident on the county line near Mims they both roll due to the 911 calls from each county
It is now, I have 1 friend that states it comes up Encrypted on the fd channel on his SDS and another friend that has heard nothing in 2 days so I asked a close friend on the sheriff dept and said it was. Even the simulcast is gone
Mims is the north end of the county. They’ve been doing that for a while now with Orange County and Volusia as well.
Yes. Brevard does many mutual aid calls with Volusia and Seminole that ive heard. Now that all 3 are going (or are already) P25, the mutual aid is much easier with radio coms.
The same can be said about the other counties that share borders with Breaverd, like Indan River Orange, or Osceolla.

But if Seminole and Orange County fire don’t have brevards painful secret encryption, then do they use one of OCFR or SCFD channels?
just FYI, as of today, 10/17 (1230am) several of the BCFR Paging TGs and the "countywide" talkgroup are in the clear.
Also seems the paging system changed as well to tones vs what they had before with the synthesized page out voice.
The tones is the backup system if there is a issue with the synthesized paging system, When they started to transition to P25, there were a few issues with some of the stations
Oddly enough though Cocoa still coming through in the clear. IHB fire coming through in the clear but on the Police Dispatch talkgroup.
Forget the IHB part of that - they fire was patched with police due to an incident.
