In that chart is #14 a talk group repeating 154.220?
Yea that's what I'm dying to know as well. And I'm also curious about whether one of those intercounty channels will act as Countywide Response 1 and get patched into Camden County Hwy Ops for jobs on I-295 and the Turnpike around Mount Laurel and Cherry Hill.

Finally heard some in the clear voice this morning on TGID 3601. I heard "Truck 99" and "Truck 51" being "Clear and back in". The audio sounded like a patch. Are those units from the Highway Department or MUA being patched over?

Sounds like the county highway department, that's their type of lingo. TG 3602 had some clear traffic a while back, just some radio checks.

I can confirm at this point TGID 3601 is in fact County Highway Department. I have been hearing traffic on that channel during daytime hours each day. Coverage has been good on my G5 in and around the western end of the county (Mount Laurel, Voorhees, Marlton Lakes, Atco and Berlin). But my SDS100 struggles greatly with this system almost as much as the current 500mhz Moto system.

The Highway Department is slowly getting the new radios (portable and mobile) installed on all the trucks. The new radios come up as 800xx Radio IDs whereas the older radios are different. This has been up for the past 2 weeks. Up until about yesterday TGID 3601 was only showing up on the West simulcast. As of yesterday the traffic was also coming through on the East simulcast. The PSR800, TRX-2 and BCD436HP perform poorly on the system from 1 mile outside Burlington County and 6 miles from the nearest transmitter. The SDS100 performs well in some spots and poor in others. The G5 performs great on this system. I will be submitting the talkgroup and some frequencies to the database. Anyone know how to submit FCC license data?

What kind of scanner are you folks using to monitor the new Burl Co system? I am seriously considering the SDS200, but $$$. Secondly, anyone in Burlington Co monitor Trenton's DXMN system or Ocean Co. new system?

I'm using both an SDS100 and a Unication G5. I'm based in Berlin Camden County about 1 mile from the county line and about 6 miles from the nearest transmitter in Kings Grant Evesham Twp. The SDS scanner does a great job from anywhere within Burlington County so far based on hearing TGID 3601 (Burlington County Hwy Dept patch from UHF) and still good coverage at my home. The only issue there is difficulty with voice frequency 769.56875 which is close to 769.69375 which is the control channel for the Berlin site of the NJICS about 1 mile from me and very strong. But that's the only issue with the SDS100. I get perfect copy on my G5 all the way down to the Turnersville area (which is the beginning of Gloucester County) and improved reception within Burlington County - particularly around Atsion Lake which had been weak previously. I really hope the county gets the ball rolling on switching over soon. It's really needed especially coming into the late spring and summer months where DTV interference becomes a real problem during the nights.
I have not tried to receive Trenton yet, but Mercer County P25 starts to come in on my SDS100 around the Mt Holly area using a Larsen Tri Band antenna. It's pretty solid around Bordentown and Mansfield down towards the Columbus Market.
I can monitor the Ocean County P25 system using the Unication G5 from my location in Berlin. I get just enough signal if I use an adapter and scanner antenna. Mind you, that's about 30 miles away from the nearest transmitter in Plumstead Twp. Reception is better anywhere north and east of Medford and can even be heard from the Batsto area on the way to Tuckerton.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you need more advice about scanners and antennas. EMTd99, where are you located?
