Yeah yeah I get it, I realize all of that...but there's no link to that BCFY page from the RRDB TRS page, which is where a lot of people start their browsing from. Yes, they can click on one of the hyperlinked TGID's to get to the BCFY TG page, then they can click on the system name to get to the all talkgroups page. No argument there, but...wouldn't it be easier and more user friendly to just dump a link to that all talkgroups page somewhere on the TRS page? 🤷‍♂️

Dude, I could add 400 more interconnected hyperlinked links to various things across the 2 sites and people will still be confused.

This stuff isn't easy. This stuff is complicated. Most people just want to "listen to the fire department because I hear a siren "

Seems like there could be exceptions for conventional nodes such as my Conventional P-25 that only monitors 4 separate frequencies and has no one else in my area broadcasting. Being able to share my node or text someone and tell them to go back and listen to the scanner and instantly have available the last 20 to 30 calls has been the main reason I even do this. This news has been very devastating to me.

Now that's a fair request and something we can consider.

However, you know you already have the similar ability by clicking on the "All System Talkgroups" link which displays all talkgroups that have been captured.

Thanks for the tip! I've used the "All System Talkgroups" before but I never thought of sorting by the "Display" field to get most of the cities and counties listed together as a group.

Ok. Thank you. One more question is there any way to add any Railroad Talk Groups/Channels to playlists or no?

I only see "Frequencies", no "Talk groups". Is that because in all actuality, I am not a "Trunked" system?

I just really need for the few regular listeners of my node to be able to play it. I also have a stream and have plenty of people that listen to that. There have been several people that have created accounts so they can listen to my node, not all are premium but the more the better, I think. If I'm not going to be able to share my node as it used to be shared then there is really no reason for me to continue it. It has been a really fun and enjoyable hobby that I have spent quite a bit of money and a lot of time to get and keep going. And there are going to be quite a few people in my small county that are going to be very disappointed.

As I'm a provider to legacy and calls, do I need to add the TG's in the playlists for the listeners to hear those TG's? I went through the list and found not all (most important TG's) were not listed and not playing but can see and hear the traffic using my own Trunking Recorder page.

What's the difference between your node and legacy stream?

You say most want to listen because they hear sirens... but what about the rest? It's a good assumption that most feed providers are more than that, and THEY are the people you are upsetting most with this move. My feed I payed money to put together, that your making money off of, is now restricted? IDK, its a drastic change with no input from the people who literally keep your website up and keep money in your pocket...

Literally all these folks need to do is to create a playlist with those 4 frequencies and they are good to go.

This weekend I'm hoping to roll out some testing of some public playlists on county pages. I'll see if I can roll Sweetwater into that. If you're not gone already.

But if you guys are going to packup your bags and go because you don't like the direction we're going, not much I can do about that. There's always someone who is going to complain that we're making money off the feeds, or "following the dollars", or we aren't thinking about your very specific use case, but I don't know what to tell you. We have a vision and we're executing on it.

Ok, then don't provide a feed my friend. I'm not twisting your arm.

If you aren't on board with the vision that we have here, then I'm totally cool with that.

Chris, you don't need to make any changes whatsoever on your end.
