Unable to update database, get message "unable to connect to the remote server." I did recently replace my modem, wondering if the problem is on my end or if it's the Sentinel software server is having trouble. I'm assuming it's me but it would be great if it wasn't and all I have to do is wait. ;)

If they ended up having to run a full database update on there end again to reload the server...
Probably won't be able to get to it till after 10:00am EST today...

Or it's broken good this time...

Can we "FLAME YOU" now?

WOW! It's in the hands of the IT department NOT Joe Bearcat. I'm sure that if he could speed the repair up that he would. Servers go down from time to time. Historically their server up time has a great record. Cut them some slack.

If it's been down for an "update" that would imply it's a scheduled outage. Any decent IT department notifies affected users prior to a scheduled outage to avoid unneeded trouble tickets among other things. Of course that's a decent IT department I guess....

Hello
Ive never had this error message before. Unable to update Master database or check for new firmware. I have Sentinel 2.03 and windows 10. The full message is:

Updating full database failed.
Operation is canceled,
The server returned an address in response to the PASV
command that is different than the address to which the FTP
connection was made,

This did not work with or without the SDS 100 connected. I rebooted a number of times

Thanks in advance

Jeff

Actually, I was not on that notification list until last evening (after the scheduled update and after my report to them).

It is still down here, but they are making progress.
