Heard a unit call as Golf 11 (G11) on the DCNR talkgroup. Any idea what park or agency that is?

Central Susq Regional 911 Snyder/union talk to them on there Analog P-1. Based in the forest area of those 2 counties. I think that forest unit is near Centre county too
Are the school districts linked to the Centre County 800 MHz also?
Wrong. They do not have access to PD talkgroups.Yes they do have talkgroups on the system. SCASD has three talkgroups, BEASD has one and so does BASD. Some of the private schools have access as well via the School PD talkgroup. The IDs of these talkgroups are guarded well by the county and they’re rarely used. SCASD and BASD have access to the local PD talkgroups as well.
Centre County's system is TDMA capable but doesn't have any Phase II TG in use for now. Is there a reason why it's still Phase I?
Post the bandplan and a screenshot of the data from a CC monitoring program like DSD+ or Unitrunker and that will put this question to rest. It's not unusual for a system to have a hardware upgrade to support but not use Phase II. This is what happened with ICORRS before they added Lawrence and Butler P2 stuff to the system. The whole state of Ohio system is P2 capable but utilizes no P2 groups.I’ll try to answer the question. Some systems may be listed as Phase 2 even though they’re only operating in Phase 1 for a few reasons. 1. Their Phase 2 capable but the agency is not using that feature at present.
While this is the band plan the system is transmitting it’s not Phase 2. I’ve personally touched radios on the system and the only slot used is 0(1). You should know this too.View attachment 129218
Here's a screenshot of the bandplan, captured via SDRTrunk.
Regardless of how the subscriber units are programmed, if the system is offering a TDMA bandplan it is a P2 capable system and should be updated to reflect that. A system doesn't have to have any TDMA talkgroups to be P2 capable. While this is the band plan the system is transmitting it’s not Phase 2. I’ve personally touched radios on the system and the only slot used is 0(1). You should know this too.

I dunno about that..I thought Philadelphia PD tried to go to P25 back in 2008 and it didn't work causing them to switch back to analog?
Yeah, I remembered an old news report that I came across a while ago that was from 2008, and if I'm remembering it right, they said that PPD switched to P25 but the computer malfunctioned or something and their whole radio system was completely out of service for over an hour or so, so they had to go back to analog.I dunno about that..
I was thinking if this..

Philly PD Phase II
I searched a bit for this but came up with some old threads talking about the possibility of a switch, but now it appears they have switched. Admittedly I normally just listen to DELCO and haven't tuned into Philly for awhile. Yesterday I activated the PPD scan list and was only getting...forums.radioreference.com

Philly Going Phase 2
Haha yeah true dad's old radio shack 2011 base scanner was 20 channels and I had the whole city covered in that. Thinking back to the good old days when Philly fire was on VHF and the police were on UHF you could keep the whole system in your head and when the first programmable handheld came...forums.radioreference.com
After the outcries they changed it to what it's listed as now, rules can be bent apparently.![]()
Philadelphia Fire Dept.
I have the 'old' Phase 1 800 mhz digital system programmed in my radio. I see where they have switched to Phase 2, but I thought I read where they haven't switched over. Will I be able to monitor them on the old Phase 1 system? My scanner cannot be programmed for Phase 2. Than you.forums.radioreference.com
