Do you not have the freedom to do so? How would the city become upset over it? There are, as you're aware, feeds from all over Canada. The city of Los Angeles, California has a little .. "blurb" on their official fire department's website about a federal law against providing a scanner feed of their department. I used to laugh at it because if there was a "federal" law then there would be no Radio Reference or any other scanner site on the Web. Apparently someone finally got wise to them because there is a feed for LAFD now. In fact there are 2. That being said, how does Canada differ along these lines from The USA?

Was by Station 13 on the weekend got a shot of Engine 27 (E19 98). I assume this unit will remain as 27 at Station 13 till a new 27 station is built. Note to who ever has access to the Fire Wiki site to adjust the info to correspond to as above instead of it being a unknown.

John

I havve since adjusted Fire Wiki... Didn't know I had access

Engine 30 should look like this: FiredUpFireTrucks.com | View Apparatus
But the lease may have been up on it so CFD might have given it back

Mr.JRPhotography in your album you have Engine #26 listed at 1206, shouldn't Engine #26 labeled as 1306????
Thanks

Hi Engine 4,

Engine 26 is (E12 06) according to my photo yesterday. Engine 25 is (E55 04) also as per my photos yesterday. This means Engine 30 has a different shop number maybe (E53 08) which is similar to the quint housed at Station 11 (E52 08).

The reason I was asking was because I have been finding the Fire Wiki very useful and would like to update but always like to have confirmation.

Note: Engine 12 is running a spare today (E20 94). It has been a great weekend for photography too :D

Cheers,

John

Thank you Mr.JRPhtography for that up-date
The reason I was asking about Engine #26 is because I have seen it labeled in some recent photos and (E1306), but I will change it to (E1206)... By the way nice shot of Engine #32!!!!!

Bush Buggies

Was down checking out the Bridlecrest House Fire this evening got some shots of the Bush Buggies called out for the grass fire. Can anyone tell me which station BB04 95 & BB05 90 are from? I have added the pictures to j_rphotography.photoshop.com

Cheers,

John

I don't know exactly what station there from, but my guess is that when CFD re-numbered all there apparatuses they re-numbered the Brush Buggy's starting the north end of the city and worked down.
So therefore 21's BB could be numbered BB0190, 18's BB could be BB0200, etc....
BB0495 and BB0590 could be from stations 24 and 19 perhaps???

Heard a truck book on this morning as Engine 2A and also heard Engine 6 earlier. My guess is that Station 6 is up and running and CFD has placed another truck at 2.

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.80 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/4.2.13918/838; U; en) Presto/2.4.15)

Ok, so Station 6 is up and running. Just walked past it and there is an Engine and Aerial inside.

(It looks like they need to hire a new line painter too)
