Is there just 2 Engines, 1 Aerial and a couple of medics left in station 1 now?
And CFD's order of 15 new Rosenbauer Engines won't be coming to Calgary in August now

So 1A has been moved into 2 station. I think station 2 will be getting something new in the near future they have blacked out the windows to bay 3 as if they don't want anyone to see in?? I'm also wondering if the moves of 2 aerial to 6 station & 1A to 2 station are temperary since both units still reference their previous stations on the truck.

Are you sure Aerial 2 is now Aerial 6?

I'm pretty certain I've heard all three Aerials in use downtown.

Also, I don't know if you made the last Wiki changes, but 19 doesn't have a boat or boat tow - they were moved to 30.

100 % sure that aerial 2 is now aerial 6. As for the water rescue I added because it was at a fire down in the se, if it has moved to 30 I didn't realize they were the same units. The shop numbers are different than what has been marked for station 30. I have posted photos on my Photoshop page http://J_RPhotography.photoshop.com/ The city is really lacking in remarking the units when they move. Sorry for the error.

I can't give a definate yes but it has been getting called out for the last few weeks and has been in the station when I have driven by. As for right now I will say yes since it was at the fire in Lynnwood but the station is running a spare engine at the moment so we'll have to see if there is a change after the Engine is returned to service.

I know I have been making a lot of changes to the Firefighting Wiki and will probably be wrong at times. I do my best to collect the correct information and make adjustments. The most difficult thing at the moment is determining what is still acurately marked on an apparatus for its station and try to figure out the non-marked apparatus.

Cheers,
John

It was at the under construction 8 Ave Place on 8th Ave - not 7th as first reported.

It was a fairly minor fire, (not your typical 2nd alarm blaze), but command called in a second alarm for manpower evacuating workers and getting to the hard to reach fire.

Is CFD starting to use 16 firefighters on all first alarm responses now? So basically 4 firefighters in every responding apparatus (Engine, Aerial, Rescue)??

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry9700/5.0.0.351 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/107)

I drove by the Canadian Public Auction yard on 52 St SE earlier today and noticed one of the yellow Pierce aerials (with aluminum plate on the front, I'm thinking 1988 vintage) and the last of the bigger aluminum boats, with trailer, on the site.

I don't have any other information other than a new bush buggy is coming online very shortly.

Enmax Communications was just testing a radio in what he called "A new bush buggy". The radio ID was the same one I have for Tender 24, so I wonder if it's stationed at 24 or what the scoop is.
