Station 42 is still under construction, it looks like it could be opened in the next 3-6 weeks. Engine 42 might be at the training grounds - it is not at any surrounding station.

Is an Aerial in 32 Station? 27 still has theirs..

42 Engine was enroute a while back to a medical in the tuscany area sooo. 32 Aerial was enroute last night with 27 Engine to a reported fire (my friend has a scanner and told me all this)

Even with all the storm related activity today, I never heard Engine 42 on the air. The last I heard Engine 50 is moving over to become 42.

Air-Light 7 is running their usual rig - 2004 International, I saw it earlier today. If/When CFD orders new trucks it should show up here - https://www.calgary.merx.com/

Side note for Ghostpolice24 - 23 Aerial is running the 2008 Pierce Quint, yes. CFD is keeping the Pierces as spares specifically though... so the E-One Bronto should be back in service some time soon (it could take 2-8 weeks depending on what its in the shop for - Bronto parts take time to get if its for the platform it's self :/)

Maybe I heard new radio ID? I swung past there the other day and saw it was still the 04.

Does anyone know which units responded to the grass fire along 37th street between 66th ave and 54th ave yesterday in Lakeview?

I see Engine 20,33, BB 8, WC,CC and the Battalion Chief in videos.. but was that it?

Not sure. But there was a structure fire at a high school in forest lawn which consisted of E22 E23 E12 E46 E4 R12 A1 A23 H4 FRP7 AL7 and South Chief.

Mind sending the vid of the grass fire by chance?

Haven't heard them on air lately, but I'll drive by tomorrow and try and confirm.
I wonder if it's the on shift Battalion Chief or Deputy Chief of operations that decides when 26 Tender is staffed and used for a shift or a period of time (of course when it's available to be used, as this is the only spare Tender for the city)

Information Needed on Former CFD Pumper

Good day, We are new to the site. We are looking for some information, pictures, stories or anything else someone may like to pass on about a former Calgary Fire Department unit. It is a 1959 International Pumper. It was Pumper #31. Built by King Seagrave for the City of Calgary. We have purchased the truck and would like to take it back to original. We would appreciate any info people have about this truck or the station it was based out of. Thanks for the time. Hope to hear from you. E&J

Hi,

You definitely want to talk to the Calgary Firefighters' Museum Society. Get in touch with them at info@firefightersmuseum.org. They have a number of restored CFD apparatus and I'm certain they can help you out. You could also call them direct at 403-287-4204.

Best of luck with the restoration!

I'd be interested in seeing "Before" and "After" restoration photos at a later date.
