Anyone know what the siren type is on the new hazmat? Thanks to technocardy (his YouTube channel name) I figured out engine 39 the 2017 Engine is a dual siren... Vancouver and Calgary fd share the same fire truck siren now.

Engine 12's 2016 engine is currently as Engine 46 i think, and Engine 46 is Engine 12... if that makes sense..

Station 30 has a new engine and is the bronto being retired soon? Because yesterday it had a mechanical failure at the Seton fire

The Bronto's a 1998 truck, but it's not a cheap machine to replace. IIRC, it's always serviced after each time it's used, so mechanical/maintenance is not a big surprise after last night.

Some recent movements..

26 Hazmat has moved up to 19 Station

South chief is in 26 Station - though I have not seen it there

Aerial & Bush Buggy 30 are out of 30 Station - I heard a rumor that they were supposed to go up to 32 Station but they are not there, maybe their in the shops for the weekend before they go up? Or perhaps they are in Station 34 or 40..?

Has anyone seen Engine 42 or the new MRU's in service yet?

27 Engine has a Quint again - might be 30's Aerial?

36 has a new 2017 Engine

CFD wants to either renegotiate their contract with YYC or have YYC have their own airport firefighters - should be an interesting/ possibly hard hitting result(s) for CFD at the end of budget talks this week :/

As far as i'm concerned, Station 42 was suppose to be done by now, and I really want it to be too! Since it's another cool looking station. (My favorite out of all is the new Station 7 though.)

Anyone know when the new Rescues will be put in service yet? I'm hoping to see them soon, or even the new MRU units that are supposedly stationing at 22 & 14.

The Rescue's are months away,.. I don't even think SVI trucks has the Cabs/Chassis from Spartan yet.

As for the MRU's; have they been outfitted? have crews been trained? is a schedule made up on who will staff them from each platoon? Things take time to move and change within CFD, Hopefully we will see the new MRU's in service sometime in January.

I am happy about the city getting more MRU's, it will help alot. Also an irrelevant question but; Where does Station 6 keep its Jetboat? Everytime i go there, I only see: Boat Tow 6, Aquatics 6, Engine 6, & Aerial 6, never Jetboat 6, even when Engine 6 pulls out of the station, and it's not behind the Boat Tow, and it can't be behind Aquatics.

The Jet Boat(s) might be at training or the shops. CFD doesn't use the boats in winter from what I understand, they don't patrol the river in the winter - they only do training and rescue response/diving with their inflatable boats

Hearing MRU 2...possibly MRU 1 has moved.

The other night I heard Engine 27 and Aerial 27 being sent to a call.

Don't hear Engine 50 anymore.

and of course as soon as i posted it....MRU 1 went on a call to the DI and Engine 50 responded to an MVC with Engine 22.

I heard a rumor a few days ago hat Station 27 was up and running someone out of a rented space on Coventry Hills Blvd NE. I haven't been able to find it though.. and well - it was a rumor :/
