Does Chaska Fire page on 154.100 [136.5]? Also, are they career or volunteer?

yes they are on 154.1000 but i dont know 136.5

154.100 is the paging frequency for all FDs in Carver County. 136.5 is the PL tone, but I'm not sure if they still use it. I know that some counties have dropped their PL tones since the VHF frequencies are only used for paging now.

One thing with Carver County....only the dispatch side is patched through to VHF. You won't hear the fire units, only the dispatcher talking.

I was in Chaska today. For some reason my BCD396XT wasn't picking up the control channel quite right. I have it programed with the correct frequencies from the Carver - Scott Co. Simulcast. #104. It would show 5 bars signal for 852.4375 but then it would drop right away, repeating over and over. I was receiving Hennipen East Simulcast correct so it wasn't anything to do with my scanner.

Any idea's?

CC Changed!

Sometime last week the control channel was changed to 852.07500 for 1-004 Carver - Scott Co. Simulcast. Hope that helps you out.
