I guess they just work with a few items and the quit for the day! haven't heard any other ID for almost an hour! There was another one in the mess of ID's a short while ago (1051) but I didn't get enough of it to identify it, but it was CPD or maybe CFD Main (just guessing).

don't see what that would matter. They know folks are monitoring to see what's going on and it will all be out eventually anyway!

I wanted to give you a few quick details of what is going on. The traffic you are now hearing on the TVR system is not patched into the TVR but it is live traffic. We have decommissioned our analog/digital system's Master Site and migrated those sites into the TVR Master Site so they are now just another site on the TVR system. We will be doing a conditional acceptance at the next Advisory Committee meeting which gives the partner counties total access to the use of the system. Look for more information to come out in the next couple of weeks through the media. Thanks for listening. Have fun.

Ok, here's something interesting! I have seen the following TGID on three sites as follows:

Tennessee Valley Regional Communications System site 2-010! Catoosa Co - 2069 - Chatt site
Tennessee Valley Regional Communications System site 2-011! Catoosa Co - 2069 - Dalton site
Tennessee Valley Regional Communications System site 2-080! Catoosa Co - 2069 - Dade Co. site

Same conversations. Since these are on three different sites, with the same TGID, they are assigned new object numbers when stored in the Pro-106 and you have to Tag the ID again. Am I missing anything with my setup or is this correct? Thanksl

If you're using separate TSYS objects for each site, yes you will have to tag them on each TSYS. If you're using a single TSYS object with the control frequencies for all sites you can hear, then you should only need to do that once.

As shown, the TGID is on three seperate systems that do not share the same control or alternate channels. So I guess I will add them. Thanks.

Technical Correction...

They are on three separate sites of the same system. From that standpoint if you enter all of the control channels and Alternate control channels from each site on the system into a single TSYS, and then set the TSYS to ROAM or STAT, you'll be able to hear any traffic close to you without having to duplicate the TGRP objects.

In Michigan, we have a similar, but much larger system in the MPSCS. With over 180 sites and over 2000 known talkgroups, creating multiple TSYS objects is unrealistic.

That makes since. Didn't look at the frequencies to see if any were "duplicated" control or alternate frequencies. Thanks.

P.S. Got family in Grand Rapids.

I submitted new groups/info to the data base last week but they are not posted.
In the past some of the stuff I've sent was never posted, for whatever reason.

I assume that I should set the "MultiSite" to Roam, is that correct anyone?
