Adam , sorry I forgot to mention those 201xxxx are patches of vhf channels , should be the patches of command east , west , fire alarm those will eventually go away there to link the VHF to the ops and dispatch channels.
No need to apologize, your contribution was really helpful! Thanks for clarifying though!

The ideal setup is an SDR with DSDPlus software. This not only displays a log of all Radio ID's active in the last 24 hours, but also records each call to an MP3 file, named with the Radio ID. This way I am able to look up any call whether I missed it or not and listen for a badge number (sometimes I have to listen to it multiple times or listen to multiple calls to discern one)

However, since you're working with a standard radio, the pencil and paper method is probably your best bet.
As far as an app or database....The wiki listing is all there is. Your contribution would become the official listing for Greenwich.

Also, it's OK not to know the badge number, there are many records on the list where that is the case and we just mark it XXXX until such time that we are able to identify it. Even just the radio ID's would be a good start.
I provide one of the state pd feeds and can get you some of the recordings. I’m also in litchfield so mostly the troop l simulcast

Hey guys, pretty big update on municipalities...

Litchfield County just got an overhaul, I've started adding links in the header for each table to listings of fire apparatus, as well as any available livestreams of each town's services. Added a whole bunch of radios and noted the talkgroup each one was last active in as well as updating audio confirmation dates.

Moved to Middlesex county today and have completed Essex, Durham, and Old Lyme, still more to come.

Note: Many of the records outside of Litchfield County date back to the end of 2022 when I relocated away from the Bradley tower. These serve as a placeholder for all radios known to be (at least at one time) affiliated with the system. My hope is that those in listening range can help bring these records up to date.

Hi all, yesterday's update was brief, I had a few people ask for more details and I do have a more in depth explanation of the recent updates:

Overall, links have been added to the apparatus lists for all fire departments, websites of agencies, and live broadcasts.

Dates are being converted to YYYY/MM/DD format to make them sortable, and date last active along with a hit counter and talkgroup last affiliated with are being added.

Litchfield county towns got the most updates, as that's in my listening area. Winsted, Harwinton, Litchfield, New Hartford, Torrington, Woodbury, and Norfolk have been fully updated.

Yesterday I worked on Middlesex county and have updated/created entries for the county as well as Durham, Essex, and Old Lyme.

Note that the updates for Middlesex county are outdated and are taken from my records that cut off at February 2022 when I relocated to Litchfield county. My hope is that by laying a framework of radios that were at least one time known to be active on the system, details like an alpha tag can be filled in or updated by those able to actually listen to the transmissions.

As I go through these, I'm taking care to be respectful of others' work and other than changing formatting or updating entries, and not step on anyone's toes by blowing anything away. (So far to my knowledge the only instance of this was when I decided to "fix" municipal portable/mobile designations, as you probably know the "standard" turned into a cluster**** for a little while and some towns flip-flopped)

The other list maintainer is in the Middlesex area and will be kind of following behind my updates and adding/changing information as needed.

One more note on the livestream links....I've come to realize that it's best to link the OpenMHZ streams and the Area Wide Playlist from Broadcastify, as the currently linked audio-only streams from Broadcastify aren't particularly helpful to someone looking to match Radio ID's....For me personally it looks like I will be able to help bring things outside of my listening area up to date.

Will be linking to the OpenMHZ feeds and the Broadcastify Area Wide Playlist going forward. These sites really do kick ass....

Thank you for all your time and dedication to the wiki page. I wish we had a statewide system like CLMRN. I understand how much work you must put into it. I wish I had that kind of time lol.

Thanks, I appreciate that. It was a lot of hours of work over the last few years but first and foremost, the work I do on the listing is self-serving (at least in my area) as it's browsable, sortable, and has a clickable table of contents (Hats off to whoever started the wiki in the first place). When I want to look something up I always go to the list first rather than digging through my log files.

Always glad to hear that others are benefitting.
CLMRN is a mindblowingly huge system and considering the number of agencies that you can monitor by punching in one control frequency is really awesome. When I want to demonstrate this to people I just pull up the list and watch their jaws drop LOL

3000 each mobiles and portable? I know it is the Gold Coast of CT but I doubt it. I believe they can have different IDs on different systems on the same radio. They can simply change the RID to match the State requirement. If the radio cannot be changed, I would imagine it may be too outdated for the current system.

No Problem. As a big wiki editor myself, I understand how much work is put into it. And im a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to the wiki so
