There like app to found the radio ids
No app. As they appear on the display, just write them down. After you’ve collected a few, post them here for adamfancher. I would imagine you would have to spend upwards of a month collecting the ID’s, on all shifts, collecting the regular shifts, days off coverage, etc. But that’s just my guess.

The ideal setup is an SDR with DSDPlus software. This not only displays a log of all Radio ID's active in the last 24 hours, but also records each call to an MP3 file, named with the Radio ID. This way I am able to look up any call whether I missed it or not and listen for a badge number (sometimes I have to listen to it multiple times or listen to multiple calls to discern one)

However, since you're working with a standard radio, the pencil and paper method is probably your best bet.
As far as an app or database....The wiki listing is all there is. Your contribution would become the official listing for Greenwich.

Also, it's OK not to know the badge number, there are many records on the list where that is the case and we just mark it XXXX until such time that we are able to identify it. Even just the radio ID's would be a good start.

I use proscan. It logs the Ids and I have the scanner to listen and name the units

When it comes to tracking IDs with a SDR I believe there is no better method than Unitrunker. In my opinion, Unitrunkers logging is vastly superior to any other program. Of course, you can't get P2 audio from Unitrunker, so I use SDR Trunk with trunking recorder to record the audio.

I've had good luck turning on the SDS record function and, when you play it back on the scanner, you'll hear the audio and see the ID numbers as long as you have UID as one of your fields.

Just made a substantial update to Groton, with special thanks to BabaDude77 for all his hard work not only identifying a whole crap ton of radio ID's, but also shedding some light on the fact that the ID's for some municipalities do not follow the same format as others (the info section at the top has been modified to explain this), as well as identifying the 201xxxx prefix for New London Countywide Fire Dispatch

I can say with 100% certainty, as a member of the New London County Fire Chief's Association ESF-2 Working Communications Group, and as the person who authored the finalized DEMHS Region 4A channel plan for New London County, that there is no New London Countywide Fire Dispatch.

There is no plan for a Countywide unified dispatch either. There will be two New London County Fire I/O TGs coming online, but they are not yet online or in any radios.

Please explain what you are hearing to believe that there is a New London Countywide Fire Dispatch, I am very curious.

I believe it is Groton Fire Alarm using 201xxxx as a Regional Dispatch Center (2019201 is one of their consoles)

GFA is a regional dispatch center, however it is in no way a Countywide Fire Dispatch. GFA is not rebroadcasting as a countywide dispatch, only for GFA. GFA serves Groton and North Stonington. The Subbase has its own dispatch, but also operates as needed on GFA. EB Fire and Pfizer Fire have their own dispatch, but also operate don GFA as needed.

Attached is The State's PSAP map. You can see what dispatch center dispatches for what area.

It's an assumption.
Litchfield County Dispatch uses 202xxxx, Tolland County uses 205xxxx, and in New London County it would appear that 201xxxx is used.
If you can share a more appropriate name for the dispatch center in that region so I can update the list, I'd be most appreciative.

When you say a "regional dispatch center", keep in mind that QV dispatches at least 7 fire departments in New London County. That is also not a "countywide" dispatch.

One question.....what does GFA stand for?

New London County, off the top of my head, has 15 fire dispatch centers operating. This is not like LCD, which dispatches most of Litchfield County, or QV that dispatches all of Windham County.

I am sure I am missing some, but:
Valley Shore
QV
East Lyme
Montville
Waterford
New London
Groton Fire Alarm
Ledyard
Mohegan Tribal
Mashuntucket
Subbase
Electric Boat
Pfizer
Stonington
Norwich

QV doesn't dispatch all of windham county. Almost, but there's others.

Adam , sorry I forgot to mention those 201xxxx are patches of vhf channels , should be the patches of command east , west , fire alarm those will eventually go away there to link the VHF to the ops and dispatch channels.
