Ok I am new to this forum and somewhat electronically inclined, but some specific help is needed.
I have an car radio with a mobil sirius magnetic antenna that has micro coax with a FARKA connection, that I want installed in my home.

Ineed to extend, the current length which is approx. 12', I need to double to 24', can I cut and splice in a larger coax diameter say RG6 or do I need to find micro coax somewhere and this is the bigger part of the question how would I go about it so I don't screw it up and lose the capacity to get enough signal to the receiver. Thanks for the help!

Use a male to male connector or female to female connector which ever is the case, and you won't loose much at all if any.

Coax Splicing is NOT a good idea.
