Hey all, looking through a Frequency guide for Corona FD, the main dispatch channel "CORONA PRI" has an input listed as 159.165 which is different than the RRDB. Also listed is a COR CMD-2 154.755/ 156.045 94.8 PL and COR CMD-3 155.760/151.400 151.4 PL. Anyone closer to the area know if these are active and the changes are correct?

I can confirm that the frequency listed for the PRI is still the same as RRDB but I haven’t heard anything on the new CMD channels

I used to live just outside of Corona, but moved away from that area six months ago. As of that time, the following was accurate:
154.235/ 159.165 PL103.5 CFD dispatch.
158.745 CFD tac 1 PL103.5
158.805 CFD tac 2 (last heard 2020).
154.785 CFD PL103.5 tac 3 (last heard 2021).
156.15 CFD tac 4 (last heard 2017).

Your 154.755/ 156.045 PL94.8 used to be Corona PD dispatch. They went to the Riv Co TRS in 2018. It's possible that the city gave these frequencies to the FD, but I hadn't heard anything on those frequencies since 2018.

Your 155.76/ 151.4 PL151.4 has to be a typo. 155.76/ 159.105 PL151.4 used to be CPD tac 1, but again, not used since 2018. Also, the input can't be 151.4 because that's a CalFire air attack frequency that's used all over soCal.

Regards, Mike

Command 2 and Command 3 still belong to Corona PD for fallback use and are still officially CPD Blue and CPD Tac-1. The possibility exists that they might be available for fire use in the future and they were labeled as such in CFD radios with that eventuality in mind. Corona Pri, Command and Tacs 1-4 are still in use with no changes.
