Crazy idea for antenna maybe

We weren't discussing CATV or FM broadcast standards.
We were discussing Land Mobile for the original poster of the thread.
You can't convert the values I discussed to dBv or dBw.
It only works for dBm.
I didn't insult you, sorry you feel the need to insult me. (and others)
As one posted, I guess that's the way it is in public forums.
I find MANY people I work with in the radio business use dB (dBm) when discussing coverage in Land Mobile.
I guess you don't.

If you are getting a little bit with the stock antenna, just a bit better antenna a little higher up may surprise you. My antenna 40ft AGL at least triples signal for me.

took forever but
i got in my scanner antenna Antennacraft ST4 got 200 foot of RG8 pl-269 fittings and adapter

put it together set it on a chair in living room and its picking up towns all around

should get better yet once i get it in the air

happy camper so far
