No.
Only the 996P2 & 536HP mobiles will do DMR (as well as their matching handhelds).
Only the 996P2 & 536HP mobiles will do DMR (as well as their matching handhelds).
He can trade it in on a 996P2 and get the upgrade for the P2

You can't. You will need to sell the XT & put the funds toward one of the newer models.

Some dealers allow trade in although they may not give you much for trade!

Bummer, oh well. I'll use the SDR with DSDplus until I get enough cash to afford a new radio.
Check Fingerhut.. They have the 996p2.. and monthly payments aren't terrible.
