A friend, now SK built one of those in the 80s with the circuit board mask provided for the project. I ended up with it a few years ago and eventually threw it away. I later built a more modern and much smaller one from a kit which works ok and only cost about $25.

Also still have an FRG 9600 it was a great receiver and its time only thing was the receive was low so you needed a VHF UHF preamp to get it to receive good
