Dave, this phenomena of having a presidential press conference that long where multiple questions were asked and answered is something the media has not seen for 4 years.

Obviously president Trump knows exactly what's going on but he is in no position to reveal that it probably started as top secret testing of military equipment. The rest is just drone clubs, commercial aircraft, Pranksters and mass Hysteria. Fueled by a not very intelligent news media.

I enjoyed the president saying that he was not going to be going to Bedminster, that was kind of tongue in cheek. When the idiot reporter asked him if he gets daily intelligence briefings it just showed how stupid the reporter is.. of course president Trump is getting daily intelligence briefings and of course his answer would be, I have no comment.

And now back to radio for a bit perhaps.

I have looked at a few sites that might capture TG’s of a special nature. No unusual radio activity at all spotted last 24/48 hours. All NJICS activity looks normal to me. Things seems to have settled down at least for now.

Tonight will be the first VFR night in a few days, we shall wait to see or hear.

But 50 of them at a time, over a heavy civilian populated area?

Is the military now delivering to civilian homes?
Great, I've been wanting to pick up some of those 'Stinger' missiles! ;)

Million miles away, but taking off from a military facility and circling a WMA I'd bet $32 that's a common occurrence...but I could be wrong.
I'm seeing military flights on a daily basis leaving McGuire heading out into the Atlantic Ocean training sites and looking back. Today was particularly active. I live right on the ocean, I have a visual on some of these flights.1000079882.jpg1000079889.jpg

Pilots have to fly to stay current on the airframe. The only way to perform your job well is to practice - practice and then practice again.
Plus it looks good on the job resume to have lots of flight hours.

In plain sight?.. SAM000 Hex AE0306 Gulfstream G5 just overflew two POI down low. Was down low for long on that leg. Unusual. Looks like a TEB ILS19 arrival.

Starting to hear the routine sighting callers now on various systems. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Been too long for anybody to come up with a believable "harmless" excuse now. But these things take a year or more for the truth to come out, that's why I copy & save links to all the media stuff to refer to later.
Eventually, over time you start seeing who's been playing straight with you.

Not sure I've ever seen so many Blackhawks up and about at the same time. Over many areas of MA, Long Island NY, and down into NJ.

Screenshot attached in case they go away. All at low altitude, as is some other fixed wing activity. We live in interesting times.

Well that is the standard route to KTEB if they are landing from the north....and they probably were trying to avoid icing conditions

EN-ROUTE SYNOPSIS/FLIGHT HAZARDS MOD ICE BTN FRZLVL AND FL190. FRZLVL 050-090

Additionally they is a lot of flight activity in the New York area....just a few airports there LOL.

The two POI - might one of them be a golf course - if so - there is nothing anyone can do about a golf course that just happens to be under the flight path of several NY airports (both departures and arrivals)

normal for night training - the ones over PA (see below) are from the PA Air National Guard. There is nothing unusual if you monitor these types of operations. Army helicopters come down to Cape May Airport do some touch and goes and head back to base.
Sometimes PA ARNG helos will stop by - eat at the airport restaurant and head back home to PA. You need to maintain your currency in the aircraft so the more time you can log the better.

Muir Army Airfield, which is home to the 28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade and the Eastern Army National Guard Training Site, is one of the busiest airfields in the U.S. Army. In 2021, EAATS was selected to be the first unit in the Army—active-duty, National Guard or Reserve—to receive a new variant of the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, the UH-60V

And a Chinook...
I've had Chinooks fly over my house here in Middlesex County at least a few times in the past year or two, nothing that unusual...

Going off what Terry (a fellow regular in the MD MilAir threads) said, wouldn't be surprised if any increase in activity tonight could be attributed to pilots trying to get their flight hours in before the year is over.

plus Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday are usual days to hear this activity. There are three C130s from the Delaware Air Guard over at KACY airport in NJ as well. They use 343.00 for air / air and to contact their base. Usual night training ops. Plus better flying weather tonight depending on where you ar flying.

Do you have any Air to Air Freqs for the McGuire to off shore training flights?
