Agreed, I've always suspected a conspiracy the second it crossed our border and they did nothing about it. It got even better after they shot it down, nothing more ever came of it. It was quietly swept under the rug.
They call that transparency😄.

What I'm reading is that the no-fly is about protecting sensitive infrastructures like power plants & such.
That makes me wonder, if they're government or gov. known commercial drones, why do they feel the need to protect anything?

I live in an area not designated as a no-fly zone and the drones were up in the air last night as usual. I would think the state capital city of Trenton would have been included but the FAA must have a reason why not. Probably not a part of critical infrastructure.
I'm biting my hand right now and will keep this short.. I see you're from Jersey, I'm a retired newspaper man from The Trentonian, worked everywhere but did spend a number of years in the State House.

Worked with a lot of Governors, some very smart and some are as dumb as a box of rocks, if this was or did start out as some kind of a top secret or classified test of USA equipment the last person in the world I would tell would be the governor of New Jersey, that goes for New York too. It would have been leaked the next day.

State Police and National Guard in both States are top-notch but I wouldn't say anything to the pay to play politicians.

Wow I think I drew some blood on my hand I bit it so hard but I was good.😉

Very simple, the public would be all upset accusing the politicians of sitting on there hands doing nothing, so they make it look like they are doing something for both state governments and concerned citizens, issuing over 100 drone related TFRs over NY and NJ the past three days, now just issuing citywide TFRs.

As I said before, if these are government drones they are exempt from the TFR, if they are foreign governments or space aliens neither will care about a TFR. All the TFR does is limit and frustrate legitimate hobby drone flyers.

By insinuating a threat.

What a long strange trip this thread has been since inception.

Back to RF again. Radar, yes drone detection, while there are some detection devices with various capabilities and designs deployed, the big money is rolling in. Lockheed Martin will deploy (5) radar sites soon. I will be running this down a bit more, Bob understands.🤣

Since we know the press is scraping RR, how long until this hits the cycle? 🤷🏻‍♂️

All makes good sense trentbob. I remember buying The Trentonian one in a while. Somehow I remember it always had a pic of a pinup in a bathing suit. Could be mistaken though. I agree re' the SP being the best. Luckily our township's under their jurisdiction. 73's and Merry Christmas.

Thank you very much and Merry Christmas to you too, yes, we have Page Six. Trentonian is a tabloid format newspaper like the New York Post as opposed to the Trenton Times which is a broad sheet. Number one in sports! Thanks for your reply and greetings.. Bob.

Don't give the media that much credit, from what I can tell they don't even know what radio reference is. A lot of this is much to complicated and sophisticated for local and national media, they go for sensationalism, sound bites and aerial video they play over and over again even after it's been debunked, not facts or technical explanations, they certainly don't investigate anything. They get more from social media than they do from technical experts LOL.

There is a lot of very interesting information especially in the latter part of this thread, the media should be scraping this site but I wonder. It ain't the old days when we used to pound the pavement LOL.
