If dsd or dsdplus came across a protocol it does decode or recognize, would there be any output at all? Or would it just sit there? I am trying to monitor this trunking system:
https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=537
and I seem to have everything set up with unitrunker and virtual cables. but dsd will not fire up a decoding window. Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

DSD+ should have no problems. When a digital voice call is directed to DSD+, use the 'R' key to record the raw audio for ten seconds or so. Upload the audio file to Zippyshare or similar and post a link here.

Thank you for taking the time to help me out.
Here is link to raw audio: Zippyshare.com - DSDPlus-Raw-Input_2015-08-24@231140.wav
That is filtered / non-flat control channel audio from system 4032, site 58 (Portage la Praririe); DSD+ does not decode that type of data.

PS Could you have a look at this summary page of the system I'm trying to monitor and let me know if I am just wasting my time?

MTS FleetNet Trunking System, Provincewide, Manitoba - Scanner Frequencies
DSD+ will decode P25 audio from that mixed mode system when you feed it digital voice, not control channel data. Something is wrong with your audio routing?

RMA74 - make sure your signal role VCO is NOT sending any audio to VAC or VB cable.

Are you able to provide me an audio sample of what should be routed to dsdplus? Just curious to know what the audio is suppossed to sound like for decoding. Again, I am grateful for you taking the time to help this n00b.

I must have a routeing issue if it's not the control channel audio that i needs to be sent to dsd.

Also does same control channel frequency go in both voice and signal? Keep in mind I am using only one dongle. As I realize this limits me somewhat just waiting on second to arrive but want to get this to work. Also do i need 2 virtual audio cables or 1 ?

FYI, here's raw audio from a mixed mode system here in Ontario.

Zippyshare.com - 782D-37-Voice.wav

You can play it with a media player or feed it to DSD+ (DSDPlus ? 782D-37-Voice.wav)

It's a bit noisy, but decodes fine.

So my question to you is, so you would set the control channel frequency on signal vco and a different frequency on voice vco? or both get parked on control channel frequency? I'm confused somewhat.

No. Parking the voice role VCO on the control channel doesn't do anything for you. Set the Park frequency to zero if you don't want to hear anything while the VCO is parked.

For your application, just one I think.
