Hello,

I have a question about dsd. I receive static up to the point that a valid transmission is received. However, the background noise is so great that I cannot hear the voice. I think I have driven my wife (and pets) mad with the white noise. I have a discriminator tap of a radio shack pro 2036 to the line in of a dell p4. I can hear the audio, so I know all is working, But, it sounds like charlie browns teacher... all muddled. Any advice?

Thanks,

Ampe

Ok, nm and ty..... I found that by simply changing the balance to only the left speaker cut out all the garbage. And still we learn.......

You can open your audio properties by clicking on the little speaker icon on your task bar.
Click on the slide bar "Mute" box, my slide bar is labeled Input Monitor but not all are labeled the same, until you find the one that mutes the white noise.
That should keep that white noise muted and allow the decoded audio to pass through to your speakers.
