Some of us don't use unitrunker, but the ability to lock out talkgroups u don't want to hear is another good idea. Being DSD+ does follow a trunk, basically all that would need to be done was to mute the audio on a specified ID that you tell it.

Hi Danny, there are some Capacity Plus, Nexedge, and other digital system I listen to with DSD+, For instance there is one system that I listen to that has a dozen talkgroups that are associated with garbage pick up and all these talkgroups are very active and the problem is trying to listen to all the other unknown talkgroups on the system to try and figure out who is on the system. With all the garbage truck talkgroups so busy it's hard to find other unknown talkgroups that are not so busy. If there was a way to lockout known talkgroups then all the unknown talkgroups you try to ID are going to be a lot easier to listen to and ID them, I was hopping to see an update to DSD+ that would append the talkgroup to the audio file so when you play back the .wav file it shows the talkgroup that is active, who knows maybe in future updates this can be accomplished. DSD+ is a great decoder to have, more and more in my area, I live in Fort Erie Ontario and many radio systems are using these new digital formats and also In Buffalo NY many of these formats that DSD+ decodes are becoming active so it's great to be able to listen to them with DSD+.

It is used as the source ID when the trunking controller sends data to the radio. One example is when the Trunking Controller sends system file data (DWR) to a radio. See section 17 of NXDN TS Part 1 Subpart F.

Hi All,
I'm running DSD on our Hytera based system. I tried to use LRRP to see our radio's locations but I don't see anything on the map nor LRRP entries in the log. Is DSD only able to decode Motorola location messages? Our channel is encrypted, could that cause LRRP entries to not appear?

I believe it is MotoTRBO only.
..... And encryption also applies to data as well as voice.
Could you post a raw audio sample? I'd like to see what the Hytera data looks like... I don't have any Hytera systems in my neck of the woods that I'm aware of.

Sure thing. I'll get a sample for you on Tuesday. My radio doesn't have GPS, but I will have access to one that does on Tuesday.

So I tried the GPS without encryption and nada. I did get some raw audio samples with and without encryption, I just have to get them off the computer to upload them somewhere.
Interesting... I'm curious to see the data. Maybe just use Sendspace or something similar?

Download multiple files from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way
File ending 214505 is the radio sending GPS coord automatically on a non-encrypted channel.
File ending 215118 is a text message first encrypted, then sent again without encryption.
Let me know if you need any other recordings or any other information. BTW, this is going through a repeater. I can get simplex samples if needed.

I have read some posts about DSD+ crashing after a certain amount of time. Just as a note if this is common on Windows, I can run DSD+ plus under Wine on a linux laptop for days with no crashing so far.

I have run DSD+ for several days on Windows 8.1 x64 and also Windows 7 x32 and the program has never crashed on me.

hmm I seem to be quoting myself again.... anyhooo...
does anyone know how to invert the signal in dsd+ ? how do I access the dos box ? ( cmd window )
To invert use "-P'. If you type "dsd -h" it will print out the command line syntax.
What do you mean how do I access the DOS box? While the program runs there is no command line. When you first run the program you state the syntax (as shown via dsd -h). If it's wrong you kill the program and restart with the correct syntax.
These are basic DSD questions. In the future please start your own thread so you don't take over larger, more advanced ones.

or go to the folder your trying to open and hold down the ctrl+shift+windows button and right click and click open cmd window here and then type in dsd or what ever the program name is and then add your cmds your trying to startup there. thats just an easier way to do it rather then typing in all the folder info in a cmd window

thanks, I did this but what do I type in the cmd line to access the config ? if I type SDSPlus.EXE it just opens the program ..ive never really used DOS commands so pretty clueless
to be honest I don't see why theres no gui,
