H-H-H-How'd you get here!?!...a DSDelorean...Just pokin a lil fun..

I dont really see your DSD+ as a CLI..More like a detailed system info display & decoder..When I think CLI I think semicolons and backslashes..

Bug: Eventfile locked

Hi DSDPlus-Team!

1.5 works excellent, some suggestions and fixes I'd like to see:

1.) event log file stays locked the whole time DSDPlus is running, so it can't be used for other software (I wrote a simple program that reads the tail of a logfile to show me the active station transmitting, for now it has to use the main program output with -v3 piped to a file).

2.) It would be useful to see in the logfile when an active call is finished (in the event windows you do a color change). External software processing needs to have some extra information appended to the event log when the transmission stops (simple word or character at the end of line is enough)

3.) commandline option to enable/disable input spectrum on startup (Do you really need it that much? I'd rather disable it by default and enable it via commandline option)

Performance on NXDN9k6 seems similar to the WinDSD Beta from Eric, though he's got my sympathy for developing cross platform and opensource (although yet unreleased)!

This is working superbly; thanks very much. I didn't notice anyone reporting so, but I can confirm it works very well in conjunction with the DSD Interface PlugIn for SDR#.

Hi All,

Nice job DSDPlus!

Working well here so far for Trbo. Some issues for NXDN IDAS trunked but will discuss later.

I did notice on a local 2 channel Con+ Motortbo system (Sys 141, site 18 - Philadelphia)

454.2750 (control)
454.2625 (traffic)

On Eric's WinDSD it shows 454.2750 as channel 1 and 454.2625 as channel 2. Grants are shown to channels as channel # and slot #. Such as a grant goes to channel 2, slot 2.

On DSDPlus 454.2750 shows as channel 1 and 2 (where channel 1 is the Control channel in slot 1 and channel 2 is traffic activity in slot 2). And 454.2625 is channel 3 (slot 1 traffic) and channel 4 (slot 2 traffic).

What is the correct per standards?

thanks,

Joe

This thread is full of screen shots.

How much lite-er do you want? An Atom-powered netbook can run four copies of DSD+ already. Are you trying to use a Pentium 1?

Events are not written to the event log file until they end.

2.) It would be useful to see in the logfile when an active call is finished (in the event windows you do a color change). External software processing needs to have some extra information appended to the event log when the transmission stops (simple word or character at the end of line is enough)
If the event is in the event log file, it is over.

3.) commandline option to enable/disable input spectrum on startup (Do you really need it that much? I'd rather disable it by default and enable it via commandline option)
It is not a spectrum display. From the help text: "0 blocks"

-wss<h>.<w> Source audio waveform window size (min 50.200; 0 blocks) [200.300]
