I'm looking for someone to help me set up DSDPlus 1.095, I have had no luck figuring out how to fill in all the files to get it to run properly, if some one with some time could set up the files for me so I can see the proper way to do it would be appreciated. For some reason I just can't figure out how to fill in the files and the audio set up.

This is the system and frequencies I am trying to set up if you could help me,

OnQue Trunking System, Multiple Locations, Ontario - Scanner Frequencies

Site 005 (5) Fonthill Niagara 01 420.54375c 02 420.55000c 03 420.64375c 05 420.74375 06 420.84375 07 420.94375

Also this is the info that comes up when I start DSDPlus, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also I am using a scanner that is tapped.
Steve

By "run properly", I assume you mean trunk tracking (voice following); if so, you need to run two copies of DSD+, one sitting on the control channel and the other following voice traffic.

That list is not correct. There are only five frequencies with NEXEDGE48-compatible licenses at that location:

420.54375 409.54375 MOBILE BUSINESS COMMUNICATION LTD. FONTHILL 4K00F1DNN
420.64375 409.64375 MOBILE BUSINESS COMMUNICATION LTD. FONTHILL 4K00F1DNN
420.74375 409.74375 MOBILE BUSINESS COMMUNICATION LTD. FONTHILL 4K00F1DNN
420.84375 409.84375 MOBILE BUSINESS COMMUNICATION LTD. FONTHILL 4K00F1DNN
420.94375 409.94375 MOBILE BUSINESS COMMUNICATION LTD. FONTHILL 4K00F1DNN

At the moment, MBC appears to be only using three channels at that site. That seems to be a bit light, as lately, one of their newer customers (Enbridge Gas) is showing up on that site along with the regulars (taxis, some tows, concrete/ashphalt delivery, waste disposal trucks, ...) Most OnQue customer talkgroups are barred from that site, no doubt due to its limited capacity.

Anyway, there's no harm in adding all five licensed channels to the DSDPlus.frequencies file, just don't expect to see all five of them getting used.

That looks like a plain vanilla startup (no CC or VC monitoring role selected) with no signal present.

You can use a scanner to monitor the current control channel; it doesn't look like there are any nearby signals (+/-6.25 kHz) to cause problems.

You still need to use an RTL-SDR dongle for the voice channel side.

420.54375 MHZ, This is another CC Channel

I too had my doubts about 420.550 MHz

This is just what my computer has for me to set up DSDPLUS 1.095 with, DSDPLUS 1.095 was not running when I took the snippet.

Not sure what point you're trying to make. Yes, it is busy and many voice and data calls are blocked every day due to lack of channel resources. And the list of disallowed groups is extensive.

Is they a way I can make my P25 Channel Activity box to stay on top when I'm using my computer? Thank you.

Thank you, the Turbo Top worked really well for this. It will also help when I do other things as well. Jeff
