Hey All,

Maybe I'm missing something obvious or doing something incorrectly, but I have a NXDN48 system fully plugged into DSDplus with no errors in the event log upon startup, but whenever there is system traffic I dont get any digital voices. I am keeping monitor audio on just to make sure I don't miss anything.

I start FMP24-CC.bat first which contains ( FMP24 -rc -i0 -o20001 -P0.0 -f411.4125 )
Then I start 1R.bat
I am using 2 RTLSDR V3's
This is what I did with a different system last summer and I had it working. I feel like I'm missing something here.

Here is are two screenshots of what I have going on, and here are my programming text files for DSDplus. Any help would be greatly appretiated!

I can't remember for NEXEGE but you may have to put the R in front of the 202 in all of those entries. Easy Search/Replace to do that. Try that. If works great. If it doesn't I don't now. What I do know is that with that setup supposedly in your files, the Channel Activity window reveals it is not seeing that system. So I suspect you need R202 instead of 202

I'm here a lot
I was going to suggest to be sure the Band Width was set to 4 on FMP24.

Your site has not been updated since 2021, I would appreciate it if you could submit some info for me to update the database.

If you went from the first, to the second, you really don't need the rx freqs in there.

This will work fine also.

And since your a subscriber, you can always download all sites, site freqs and listed talkgroups formatted for DSDPlus here.

If you do not utilize priorities, you run the system with just one dongle. Then clone the folder and run the other dongle on an additional system.

I put them in there cause that’s the way DSDplus says to format them in the .frequencies file

; protocol, networkID, siteNumber, OTAchannelNumber, TXfrequency, RXfrequency, sortOrder

Im also curious why in the RR database, for these trunked systems, the Rx frequencies aren’t displayed like they are with the rest of the database.

Also thank you for letting me know about the DSDplus formatted file download. I had no idea that was a thing!

For general scanning, it should indicate "optional" IMO. None of the 600 entries in my freqs file have any rx freqs.

For those with DSD+ 2.464 or newer wanting to monitor trunked inputs,

DSD+ 2.464

Removed Scroll of Death.

More DMR messages decoded.

More P25 LRRP messages decoded.

Added menu options to tune to trunked repeater inputs when following voice or data calls.
Performance on input frequencies may be improved by selecting only a single protocol
in the DSD+ Decoder menu. For non-P25, non-DFA systems, input frequencies will need to be
added to the relevant DSDPlus.frequencies file entries
.

Added proper decoding of inbound P25 trunking control channel messages (ISPs).
When monitoring inbound P25 control channels, only P25 decoding should be selected
in the DSD+ Decoder menu. All other protocols must be deselected.
Currently, only a limited set of ISPs are fully decoded. Decoding of additional ISPs
will be added as users submit raw source audio recordings of unhandled ISPs.
File sizes can be minimized by enabling Only Record During Sync in the DSD+ Input menu.

Im also curious why in the RR database, for these trunked systems, the Rx frequencies aren’t displayed like they are with the rest of the database.
I am more than confident that someone with that answer will chime in with the reason.

Also thank you for letting me know about the DSDplus formatted file download. I had no idea that was a thing!

For most system types, the info is in the downloads section with each system. Don't think its available for Cap+ yet. P25 systems will not have a formatted freqs file because DSDPlus manages that differently.
