Thanks, I'll give it a try.
I also get Net 9 on my Unidens but multiple people get Net 10 in DSD+. Im in Cincinnati currently and will drive back to the Walton Substation in about 45 minutes. When I got off at the Walton exit I couldn't see any other frequency because of how strong it was.I actually just had a little down time at work and went up to the top of the parking garage at Good Sam Hospital in Cincinnati and on my SDS-100 I am picking up 161.825, CC: 0, Net ID: 9, Site ID: 84.
I only have my SDS with me so I'm not sure what that converts to for region and site.
I was thinking it could be Walton but maybe it's something else.
My guess is they will use the licensed frequencies as voice channels and the frequency blocks for control channels.Grant County confirmed. Did not see any 151 towers at either of these sites online. Grant County site is still showing LTR Bursts.
I would say your correct on that theory. I just sent in an update to the Laurel county tower which is actually in Knox (my fault, got my notes mixed up between the Keavy and Gray tower. It would make since for some of these sites however the Renaker and Lawreceburg sites have their control channel down in the 151-153MHz band as well as voice. I suppose the additional licenses at both sites will be used for voiceMy guess is they will use the licensed frequencies as voice channels and the frequency blocks for control channels.
That is the hex value. Most commercial radios use the hex values for programming although many of the programming software's are starting to allow decimal inputs and the software converts it.Note: Region ID 10 = 00A, Region ID 11 = 00B, an so on. This is the way the RR DB displays region ID's.
