Yeah a friend called me the other day to tell me a few Oakland patrol cars were at the ALCO radio shop abut a week ago so this makes sense.

Alameda County Probation

I'm hearing Alameda County Probation testing talk group 3751 on ALCO SW cell. They are reading scripts to the dispatcher. This had been done with other agencies prior to activating a TG. I'll update the DB when this becomes active and confirmed.

State Parole

Lots of chatter on TG 10209. Sounds like a stake out in San Francisco, judging by the streets named off. Several officers involved. There was talk about parole violations, so I'm pretty sure these 102XX TGs belong to State Parole. Heard most of the morning on ALCO SW.

Regional Parks

I have been hearing some interesting testing on EBRPD police tag, 10005, over the last few weeks. A fire department unit, usually 5637 or similar, has been going to various parks in the district and testing HT units with police dispatch. I don't know if this means that the fire department is going to EBRCS but can only test on the police TG, or that the police department is and the fire personnel are testing for them. Time will tell...

PD dispatches for FD there so it's really all one in the same Comm center wise.

EBRPFD is supposed to go to EBRCS anyway

Using new channels, Dispatch on CONEAST C1, using C2, C3 etc .. for incidents now vs. being on old VHF. Dispatcher side of communications are still broadcast on VHF. Central also seems to be on digital EBRCS today.

Moving forward finally I guess.

Update for Battalion 4 (Orinda/Moraga) from old VHF ConWest to ConCentral also made with the EBRCS changes and seems to be consistent per the previous channel line-up threads and in the DB.

Batt 7 now just on ConWest.

I just dug my psr800 back out and hooked it up to pro96com and saw some new TG's? I'm seeing 1008-1009 and also TG 5552 and 7005 which shows (enc). This is off the east cell (772.50625)

7005 should be Antioch pd.

1008, 1009 is in the DB

5552 is still unknown

Well, that wouldnt nescessarily mean they are encrypted, could be you are not getting a clear signal.
