Two more band plans for TDMA usage. FDMA uses 1 but TDMA uses 2 in the codeplug.
Not sure what you're talking about

Iain, Yes I realize that but the RADIO has to be setup with the proper bandplan in the codeplug for TDMA. It is not just a "flip of a switch" in the codeplug. You have to enter the FDMA FIRST as part of the Control Channels and the TDMA channels come in the SECOND and THIRD places as voice channels. Not sure what you're talking aboutWith TDMA, two voice conversations can conveyed in a single RF channel, instead of one, which effectively doubles the capacity of the system without requiring any additional RF spectrum. There is no band plan change required (that I know of).

Well no one even mentioned what type of radio you're talking about! I'm expecting that mine (Unication G5, Uniden SDS100 and SDRTrunk software) will "just work", since none of them require any special programming for TDMA. Whatever mystery radio you're talking about may be different
In any case, I'm still seeing all Phase 1 so-far.
Band plans are for commercial rigs ala Mother /\/\. They should show up in the SDRTrunk software. The G5 needs the proper channel line up (Bandplan) in order to listen to the system...
Frequency Bands
BAND:0 FDMA BASE:851006250 BANDWIDTH:12500 SPACING:6250 TRANSMIT OFFSET:-45000000
BAND:1 FDMA BASE:762006250 BANDWIDTH:12500 SPACING:6250 TRANSMIT OFFSET:30000000
BAND:2 TDMA BASE:851012500 BANDWIDTH:12500 SPACING:12500 TRANSMIT OFFSET:-45000000 TIMESLOTS:2
BAND:3 TDMA BASE:762006250 BANDWIDTH:12500 SPACING:12500 TRANSMIT OFFSET:30000000 TIMESLOTS:2
This actually confirms what was suspected. Thank you. There is no concept of bandplans in the G5 programming. It just needs to know the control channel frequencies. It can get everything else it needs from the control data.
SDTRunk does show this:
Code:Frequency Bands BAND:0 FDMA BASE:851006250 BANDWIDTH:12500 SPACING:6250 TRANSMIT OFFSET:-45000000 BAND:1 FDMA BASE:762006250 BANDWIDTH:12500 SPACING:6250 TRANSMIT OFFSET:30000000 BAND:2 TDMA BASE:851012500 BANDWIDTH:12500 SPACING:12500 TRANSMIT OFFSET:-45000000 TIMESLOTS:2 BAND:3 TDMA BASE:762006250 BANDWIDTH:12500 SPACING:12500 TRANSMIT OFFSET:30000000 TIMESLOTS:2
but I think that's been there for a while. They're still doing all phase 1 channel grants, even though the system is capable of phase 2.
Interesting. I've been hearing traffic on 5127 on the CCCO Central site. It sounded like law enforcement (perhaps a tac channel), but I hadn't been able to figure out where. Subscriber IDs are all in the 3297500 - 3297517 range.
I only listen at night but it was around 1130pm. And just last night December 8th I heard it again.SJSU Dispatches for CSU East Bay after hours. What time did you hear the patch?
I took 2 videos last night. So it looks like when SJSU dispatches, no VID shows up at all for some reason. SJSU dispatch is TGID 4761 in SVRCS.
The 2 ID’s talking on the EBRCS were 3297502 and 3297510. The one ending in ...10 did the majority of the talking.
Possibly, this is very interesting, they also do De Anza College, and Foothill College in Santa Clara County, they got a patch going on that as well in the West site on SVRCS.SJSU Dispatches for CSU East Bay after hours. What time did you hear the patch?

Prefixes for units are "1" SJSU "2" FHDA and "3" CSU EB for when you listen in.Oh that's super interesting. I'll try to pay attention to what streets and areas they talk about on that channel now that I'm aware.
Have you still been hearing this recently? Curious if they are still in the clear and have a patch, because the SVRCS SJSUPD is now encrypted. Also which sites have you seen them on?So I just laid in bed and I’m listening to my scanners set up and I’m hearing the same channel audio come out of 2 scanners and none of my scanners are set to cross the same channels. I have 1 for CHP, 1 for Silicon Valley p25 system SVRCS, 1 for San Mateo/Santa Cruz , and I have one for this system EBRCS. So I sit up in confusion. San Jose state university dispatch is playing on my SVCRS system. And an unknown system is playing on my EBRCS system. So apparently they just added SJSU dispatch to the east bay regional system. It was being transmitted on TGID: 5127. I Thought it was very peculiar and would share with the group.

On the 5127 talkgroup? Currently monitoring it and hearing no traffic so far.I recorded some audio on April 14th, on CCCO Central, including a 3N unit announcing he was on Concord campus foot-patrol.
