Thanks for the update. Looks like we are good for two years, maybe longer considering the inevitable delays.

Looks like there was some TDMA activity popping up today on EBRCS CCCO Central. Not much detail right now, although I've noted some problems with the way OP25 Web UI logs Phase 2. No doubt though... this is the first time EBRCS has tripped the Phase 2 detection in OP25.

Noticed it also. I have seen Phase 2 testing in the past though. As far back as a year ago.

Great info honestly! Although *AS LONG AS* there is one valid P1 subscriber unit on the TG, it will remain FDMA. Granted I don't think there are many XTL/XTS/Phase 1 units left in the EBRCS system...

I think s/he means those (of us) with scanners that don't do Phase 2 will soon be SOL.

Martinez PD1 (7305) seems to be doing TDMA now too, FWIW.

That's the thing that I was trying to explain. As long as there is *ONE* subscriber unit on FDMA listening to the TG, the Phase 1 scanners would still work...It's once all units are 100% Phase 2, then it would be necessary to get a P2 scanner.

No on encryption. That should take place county wide in a year or two according to documents provided to this discussion forum. Also, add Hayward to phase 2 this morning. Newark still phase 1 as of a few minutes ago.

I changed Fremont, Union City, and Hayward PD primaries to TDMA. Have you seen the secondary talkgroups?

Yes Fremont PD2,9 & 11 are also phase 2. Also Park Rangers tg 4220. No fire yet as they are dispatched by ALCO. I think it is safe to say that FPD and Fremont City talk groups are now phase 2. UCPD not active much on their other TGs. I'll advise later on Haywards TGs.

Copy, I went ahead and marked all the Fremont talkgroups TDMA.

@mlangeveld TG7955 (Vallejo PD), TG 7556 (San Ramon PD) and TG 10005 (EB Regional Parks) are noted as TDMA on my side today...
