For the past couple of days I've been hearing rpd from the east site coming in very clearly. Haven't had a chance to post.
Yeah, we think it's because a tech was listening to/affiliated with RPD in central or east, which activated the talkgroup in the east zone.

Would that correspond with me hearing rfd? Also heard them tackle a fire yesterday.
If a central or east radio affiliated with RFD's talkgroups, you would be able to hear them on central or east sites. That's my understanding.

That's a radio tech TG I think
As of this afternoon, RPD is no longer active on COCO Central...looks like that dude switched off the radio he left on all weekend.

You're probably picking up central from Highland Peak, which has excellent line of sight to Livermore. The east simulcast has a site (Los Vaqueros) near this location, but it's not online yet. Currently east is using relatively low-level sites that don't reach your area due to the terrain.
Hmm...the most recent site matrix lists Highland as complete, but who knows? I would say he's receiving Kregor, but central and east both have sites there so it would be weird if he got one but not the other.
I will run it this morning and post results this afternoon.
