Wow!

Thank you king... and kma.

Turns out, I can hear the East CCCO cell from my location as well! I was wondering why I couldn't since East has a site on Kregor Peak, along with Central.

So, turns out I can hear West, Central, and East from my location - fantastic! Now, here's to hoping they don't encrypt the whole mess...

Thanks again for the update, guys.

EDIT TO ADD: Pro96Com also shows 774.73125 as a Control channel (usage: C) - I don't see this in the DB either.

Yeah I'll have to try that new CC when I get home.

As for the other freq, CCCO East has seven freqs and it looks like they are all accounted for. Are you sure it belongs to that site?

774.73125 is CCCO Central

I concur. All of the frequencies currently in the database are consistent with their FCC license data. The only site missing frequencies now is ALCO Southwest. If you see 774.73125 in your software, it's most likely coming from CoCo Central.

Bullsh|t. I disagree. EBRCS CCC East says 774.73125 is associated with the East cell...

If I'm reading it wrong, tell me how. I'm only reporting what I see as fact.... see attached screenshot.

I have had this situAtion before. I got data on east then quickly switched to central and saved. It some how used some info from one site and saved to other.

I'm not getting what your getting either.

Try clearing out the tower info file and see if you get it.

And if you look at the license for 774.73125, it's only licensed at the central tower locations.

I'm picking up 774.73125 from Marin County and it's identifying as Site 005, which is the CoCo Central Simulcast Cell. You can't use the same control channel in two cells immediately adjacent to each other...

It's a problem with the software. Your data wasn't saved correctly as there can be issues when switching sites. It's important to stop Reading when you switch sites or you get data file bleedover.

Tgid 5078

I heard testing on the ALCO SW Simulcast yesterday and today on TGID 5078. Today they were over on the Peninsula at Crystal Springs Res. (which they said would be the furthest west and south that they would test) and the Colma BART. They said Colma BART would be an active location for the "scenario". I wonder if they were referring to Urban Shield, which starts Oct 26th this year. That would be a good test of the new system.

I heard on TGID 5078 on ALCO East Simulcast, someone talking about OES. Not sure if they were OES or radio techs testing the OES radio setup.

Hiya folks. First time poster here so be gentle. been following the thread for awhile and the information has been priceless, so I thank you all. I heard the radio traffic Spacerat heard the other day concerning OES. I didn't catch the TGID on my pro-106 as I just upgraded from the uniden 346(needless to say I'm behind the 8ball in learning the differences between the two systems). Anyways, if it helps, a buddy of mine was envolved with the testing,, which was ACSO and OES testing the radio system at different scenario sites for the upcoming Urban Shield.

This morning from 7:45am-10am I heard what sounded like encrypted chatter on TGID 3311 and 3312. Do they have encryption on this system?

Yes they do, however from what I have read, they plan to only encrypt sensitive channels (NARC, etc). All dispatch channels should be in the clear. The 33XX subset belongs to Livermore PD, so those may be Livermore NARC and/or detective channels.

I heard the same 'traffic' on those TGID. During all that I heard someone on ACSO mention something along the lines of "LPD SWAT is moving on the target location now." Secret squirrel channel for the special ops teams?

Everyone. It really helps to have radio iD numbers if your scanner shows them. That way we can compare to existing known radio IDs to identify unknown talk groups.
