I've been working on the settings for EDW. What I have will track a talk group, but once in a while a frequency pops up with no audio and probably no carrier, so I really can't submit what I have to the site.

That said, I'd appreciate it if anyone near EDW would try to use this information to monitor their trunk radio. They have 3 systems. All ID as 8D1B. All use:
base: 406.1625
offset: 380
step: 12.5
type: motorola (I don't know much beyond that)

Control channels are
407.56250
409.56250
410.76250

I don't live near the base, so I was hoping somebody in the area can check it out.

I'm listening to Edwards AFB on my PRO 95 based on the information you provided. So far so good except that the system doesn't seem as busy as I had anticipated. Almost every squadron and their mother on base is issued radios and I expected a lot more than I'm hearing. That might be because many units are now using Nextel, I don't know for sure how many.

Let me know if you need anything from me by e-mail so I'll respond faster.

With a 250D, you should be able to scan the base with just a control channel, base, and offset. If you can, try just before lunch time or late afternoon. These are common times for radios to be in use.

I've scanned EDW while watching planes land at Palmdale, so I know it can be received south of the base. I used the 410.76250 CC.
