I don't understand why RadioReference still allows downloads for encripted channels . You know that scanners cannot recieve these channels. Even a warning would help eliminate the frustration. Spent all this money on a scanner and took the time to download, only to get "dead air".

Virginia State Police
Why can I no longer get the Virginia State Police on my BCD9662P2 scanner. I used to get all the Division5 calls, but now I get none. Can anyone tell me why? I downloaded all the local channels from Radioreference, but just get radio silence. Thanks.
