It's still there on the OH forum header:

error on line 3 at column 5464: Encoding Error

Also seeing it in the previously mentioned officer down thread:

error on line 20 at column 6L Encoding Error

Is this issue still being looked into? Still getting the errors.

It is, but we haven't heard back from the developer. We're just going to have to live with it for the time being until they issue more fixes.

Any estimate on the timeframe to hear back from the developer (i.e. couple weeks, few months)?

I have no estimate at this time. The problem is arising from special ascii characters that people are pasting into forums posts that aren't properly being escaped through the XML system.

You are just going to have to be patient - we are at the mercy of a third party developer.

I sent an updated support request and received back some fixes today. Let me know how things are going now. So far, I haven't been able to reproduce any of the issues so far.

Thanks!

All right!

So far, the Ohio Breaking "Sheriff Shot" thread renders OK for the first time ever. And the first thread in kma's #59 post also works fine. Can't test more until tonight, but this is looking good so far.

Nice job, way to stay on it!
