I've had my Pro 106 for a while now and I'm trying to fine tune the MI (MPSCS) system (9600 bd system set to P25 auto, multi-site set to roam, supertrack on).
I'm here (vs the RS forum) because these radios are supposed to be the same and I figure more people have more experience with the PSR500 than the 106. Anyway...
I'm receiving as well as expected but still have frequencies 'dancing around' in the display once in a while. I've tried tweaking some of the expert settings and things have improved but not to my liking. I'd like to post what I've changed to see if anyone can tell me if I went in the right direction (or not), and if you can suggest any better or additional settings.
I changed:
default to new setting:
SQ Wait 1 10 to 5
SQ Wait 2 15 to 8
FR SQ Fade 10 to 0
DG Int Prime 60 to 1
96CC HD2 TO 30 to 10
96VC SQ TO 50 to 10
96VC XF TO 100 to 10
HD2 Qual DG 100 to 10
